Great personal service from all the staff who were locals and knew the area very well.

We had a fabulous 5 night stay here. We were made to feel so welcome, everything was spotless, breakfast was a great way to start our adventures for the day. The dinners we had there were huge & of a very high standard. A great place to stay, rest up & meet up with our son after 6 months which was amazing Would highly recommend this hotel for its friendly, happy & laid back style. We loved it, thankyou. First off all I love the staff I've been coming to Downings for years I mean years .The staff are always so friendly. This is the first time we've stayed in the hotel as we normally book a house for the week during the holidays.The hotel room was spacious and clean. Top marks .We booked in for the wine & dine Friday night special. To be honest we were sceptical about it .But that soon past the food was out off this world I swear we were in heaven. The young lad loved his food as well. Compliments to the chef. Next up our waiter john thank you for your service very attentive and we had a few laughs. And the rest off the staff at the Beach hotel thank use .love how use keep smiling even though the job use do can be hard .A big thank you to Mairead who always has a smile and a lollipop for the young ones .Mairead & Charlie your hotel is outstanding cant wait to book again .Sean Jolene & young Bobby
